My Review
Like most of the Video Game Tester sites I have reviewed, it covers the basics of what you need to do in order to become a game tester.
The nuts and bolts of what you need to know is contained in a neat report that you get to download and read at your leisure. It’s a pretty standard report but certainly doesn’t miss anything out.
What I liked about Aarons site is the way he has developed a series of mini courses that explain what you need to do, step by step.
This removes the guess work and gives you the complete process from newbie to getting hired.
To make things even easier you get a detailed ‘Flowchart’ which in essence is a summary of the mini course that enables you to see at a glance what steps you need to take.
All this information is contained in the members area which you get LIFETIME access to for just one payment.
It’s easy to navigate, simple to follow and has been expertly put together so that anyone, no matter what level of experience you have, can follow a natural progression towards applying to companies for game tester jobs.
What really sets this website apart is the job listings section. Every day you get an updated list of the current job vacancies that are available from all over the world.
Right now there are well over 100 vacancies listed with around 15-20 new jobs added every week!
There is also a similar updated list of game company job pages. This gives you the contact details of all the game companies that are recruiting. Again this is constantly updated.
You get access to these details for life, which is awesome considering the work that goes into maintaining it.
There are some nice little bonuses to be had when you join including Game System Cheats and Codes, discount off video games and a game tester guide.
Guarantee
As with all the products I’ve reviewed here, Only4Gamers comes with a solid 8 week, money back guarantee.
Aaron who runs the site will have no hesitation in giving you a full refund if you’re not happy in any way with the site or the products.
You pay through ClickBank or PayPal who handle your credit card details. This is 100% safe and actually safer than purchasing products in a regular store due to the stringent security and privacy measures imposed.
Conclusion
I have to say that I’m very impressed with Only4Gamers with the quality of its products and the continually updated job vacancy listings that are available to you online, 24 hours a day.
You certainly get excellent value for money with a lifetime membership to the members area. My only concern is that Aaron will soon turn the site into a monthly membership due to its popularity and success.
If you’re serious about becoming a video game tester then I highly recommend you become a member of Only4Gamers. It will save you tons of time and research and you’ll have a list of all the best game testing jobs for as long as you want.
It certainly gets a top recommendation from me.

Hi, i just wanted to let you know that i was a little bit scared to join olny4gamerscom, but after reading your review, I felt alot more comfort in becoming a member. Your review was very well written and explained everything that only4gamers.com is about.
Hi, good post. I have been woondering about this issue,so thanks for posting. I’ll definitely be coming back to your site.
Hi, I've been reading your website about only4gamers.com and i am impressed with what you have put down on your site, its easy explained and the information is well written. I have been considering becoming a member for only4gamers.com because i love playing games.
i want to make sure this is real. i love to play videogames, and i would love to play the new games that come out. is this all for real? i would love to become a member, but i want to make sure i am not scammed, how will i know if your telling the truth?
Hey Stephen,
Let me tell you straight up. There's no quick and easy way into becoming a game tester. If there were everyone would be doing it.
There are things you need to know that will help you. And the sites I recommend you join provide good, solid information, but more importantly a current list of tester job opportunities that come up.
Sure you could do this without joining up, but it sure saves a lot of time and wasted effort.
Remember, you really only need that first job to get your foot in the door. From then on it becomes much easier and you'll make lots of contacts.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you need any more help.

I too was a little concerned that this product may be a scam, but your review helped clear things up a lot, thanks. I do have a question about the game testing industry in general though. I'm 17 and still in high school, so I won't be able to test games for say, 5-8 hours a day, because I do have schoolwork to do. Do you need to be willing to work long days to be a tester, or are there jobs offering 1-4 hour workdays as well?
Thanks,
David
Hi David,
To be employed by one of the big gaming companies you need to be 18 years old and over.
Testing jobs vary depending on the requirements of the developers/designers etc. You might be expected to work on a project for 2 or 3 weeks solid. Although you will work normal working hours.
Best,
~ Pete
I am 15 is there any way that i can be a tester i really have a passion for gaming and just wondering if I can become a tester now to get some experience for later in life.
I would like to ask is game tester job only available for US citizen only?I'm from Malaysia and i really love this kind of job.pls advie
Hi Jeff,
Game Tester Jobs are available all over the world where game companies exist.
Naturally the US has a large proportion and you are more likely to get employment if you live in the large game producing countries like the US, UK and Europe, China, Japan etc.
Some companies do take on testers who work from home, although not many. I'm not sure about Malaysia. You'd have to do some research.

Hi, I've been reading your Website about only4gamers.com. I want know If I can become Member video game tester.. Where I can join in? Your telling is truth. But it will not be Guarantee for Become member or can? I am very loved Playing Video game since I was kid. so I want become serious a video game tester. I want made sure; I not join up a wrong website or not get paid by company.. How I can get By mail with game I can play and tester it? Thank for your time to reading my comment. Hope heard from you..
Hi Tyler,
As with any job there's no guarantees.
Obviously English is not your first language so you need to find out if there are any video game companies in your country that recruit game testers.
If there are, then it would be worth while joining one of the companies such as Only4Gamers.
I'm really only familiar with the US market but know that many other countries also actively employ game testers.
~ Pete
HI, Yeah English is not my first language. I am Deaf and live in Utah. I not live other Countries. I use my ASL first language and sorry for put type on comment. But Thank for Information.

Hi, quick question, Pete. You said to David that "To be employed by one of the big gaming companies you need to be 18 years old and over." However, the Only4Gamers.com website states that you do not need to be over 18. Are you stating that it is only the big companies, or all companies in general? Could you please clarify?
Hi Tyler H,
I can't speak on behalf of all the game companies out there or Only4Gamers. But to be employed and receive a wage you must be over 18.
However, you may be able to get some non-paid, work experience jobs form some companies and in fact this could be a 'way in' as a tester when you do turn 18.

@ Alex - You have to be 18 to get paid as a game tester.
There are job listings all over the world but are only advertised when positions are made available. That's why sites like Only4Gamers and GamerTestingGround are so useful in providing up to date information.

hey, I just graduated from BGSU with a BFA in digital arts. Do u think that me having a digital arts degree will help me in anyway when trying to get my 1st job as a game tester.
I'm also interested in knowing weather I can get money working from home or am I going to need to relocate?
do u work from home? as a beginner in game testing. How much do u make on average? Do u find it hard finding new jobs being that 15-20 jobs are posted per wk?
I've found that your website is very informative and thanks for all of your hard work.Hope to hear from u soon.
